FarmIT Mobile - Farm Records on the move.

FarmIT Mobile is a software app specifically for use on mobile devices to enable data collection and information lookup whilst on the move around the farm or estate. It is designed to work alongside the main FarmIT 3000 software. So unfortunately you NEED the main software!

FarmIT Mobile is available for two main mobile operating systems, Microsoft Mobile and Android. At present we do not support Apple devices.

Microsoft Windows Mobile Devices

FarmIT Mobile is a software app specifically written to run on Microsoft Windows Mobile devices and directly interfaces with FarmIT 3000 software in the office via the Microsoft Mobile Device Center software. Although Microsoft has stopped development of windows mobile it is still avialable and functioning on 1000's of devices arround the world.

FarmIT Mobile provides full functionality for recording cattle, sheep, poultry and field data, including calving/lambing, vet and med, weights, grouping and movements. You can also lookup animal history in the field for your animal that are 'ON HOLDING'. Analysis and reporting tools are provided within the main FarmIT 3000 program.

The data is synchronised with your main FarmIT 3000 database using a wizard within the main software.

The mobile software also allows the main software to be used whilst the mobile device is being used out on the farm.

Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1

Although the software will run on any Windows Mobile device, we do favour the Psion Workabout Pro fitted with an Agrident AIR300 EID reader. Particularly if you are using it to read EID tagged sheep.

Unfortunately, FarmIT Mobile is not available without purchasing the main software, so you cannot use it on its own. It is however FREE!

FarmIT Mobile for Android Phones and Tablets

FarmIT Mobile is a mobile App specifically writen to run on 'Android' devices and directly interfaces with FarmIT Online and your FarmIT 3000 software in the office.

It is available from the Google Play Store.

FarmIT Mobile provides full functionality for recording cattle and sheep data, including calving/lambing, vet and med, weights, grouping and movements. You can also review animal history in the field. The analysis and reporting tools are provided by the main FarmIT 3000 program.

The andriod version of FarmIT Mobile also uses GPS mapping, to allow field recording with GPS coordinates. This is based on Google Maps.

Data is synchronised with your main FarmIT 3000 database using the FarmIT Online cloud. This can be done when the device has wifi (i.e in the office), you do not need wifi to use the device in the field or shed.

FarmIT Mobile for android phone or tablet, with direct and offline access to your farm records.

The software will run on any Android Mobile device, however with so many different devices available some devices work better than others. Phones are good for looking up information and recording small events, for example a death or calving. Tablets better in console mode for weighing.

Unfortunately FarmIT Mobile is not available without purchasing the main software and subscription to FarmIT Online, so you can not use it on its own. It is however otherwise FREE! You may also use it on multiple devices for the price of only 1 subscription.
