The Tru-Test MP600 load bars are rated at 2000kg each thus providing a total capacity of 4000kg for animal and platform/crush. Although extreamly robust total emmersion in water should be avoided and do not leave them standing in water. Like all electronics on farm a regular check over and a little care can extend live and reduce costs considerably. Accuracy is dependant on Weigh head - typically 0.5Kg with EW7i or XR5000.
