The top of the range weigh head is the XR5000 and has all of the more complex
features including 'Life Data' which is animal information. i.e Tag
number, Sex, breed, Sire , Dam, Index, Birth Status etc. This allows you to see this data when weighing and also
draft on that data. For example drafting out progeny for a specific sire.
The XR5000 is extremely flexible and once familiar with its capabilities, the
XR5000 can be tailored to best meet your specific animal management
requirements. The XR5000 replaced the XR3000 in 2015/2016, the XR3000 was our prefered choice of weigh head for
many years and the XR5000 is even better. However it is an expensive unit that you need to use in full
to truely justify its cost. If you are into weight recording and drafting on
data other than weight then the XR5000 is the unit to choose, If all you want is
