Duncan took the decision to SIGNET record his flock of 1500 breeding ewes in 2007. Since then he has made over 50,000 EID readings of ewes and lambs.

The data he has collected has resulted in improvements in ebv's and improved the commercial flocks performance. He is also one of the largest signet recorded flocks in the Llyen breed and lambs all his Lleyn ewes outdoors in Northumberland.
