The Direct Dialer executable provides a windows system tray icon that monitor incoming calls and pop Microsoft Outlook, third party programs via the command line and simulate keystrokes. This is a simple to use and virtually instant screen popping solution enabling you to pop outlook contacts in seconds.
The Direct Dialer control provides the functionality of the Telelphony API (TAPI) in a simple to use and configure ActiveX Control for embedding in your application or database. This includes applications written in C++, C#, Java or Visual Basic and database such as Microsoft Access, Visual FoxPro, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Office Applications such as Outlook.

The control provides two main functions
1. Direct Dialing.
2. Screen Popping.
Direct Dialing
The control allows you to simply dial a number directly and respond to connection and hangup messages directly with the system interfering with any of the built in functionality of Windows 2000 or XP.
Screen Popping
The control allows you to automatically pop up customer or contact information related to an incoming call, by accessing record or information related to the telephone number of the caller.
