Popping Goldmine - On Call Connect.
The DirectDialerGM.EXE provides the screen popping with Goldmine but allows you to select to pop the customer record on call connect rather than call offering (phone ringing).
Using Direct Dialer for Goldmine
When you install Direct Dialer an exe specifically for use with Goldmine is installed, however you will need to create a shortcut to it by right clicking where you want the shortcut to be.
Then type in " C:\Program Files\Border Software\Direct Dialer\GoldMine\DirectDialerGM.exe "
Then click on "Next" and enter a name for your shortcut, "Direct Dialer" for example then press "Finish"
Popping Options
Select 'Config' from the tools menu. For full details of the Direct Dialer configuration please refer to the Direct Dialer client pages.
Simply tick the 'Pop On Connected' option open the Goldmine record when you answer the phone.
Goldmine Options
Select 'Goldmine Options' from the tools menu
You may test the popping independently of the phone system, simply by entering the telephone number and clicking the 'Test' button.
