Each animal weight record also has an associated condition score. Whether you use a sophisticated electronic weigh crate or simply a spring balance, FarmIT 3000 allows you to not only record animal weights but analyse the weights for individual animals or groups. You may enter weights manually or import via other programs such as Microsoft Excel, or import the data from EID readers (GESII) or direct from Tru-test weighing units. When analysing growth rates or breeding performance you may compair animals based on weighing points. You may create your own weighing points, for example 100 day, 200 day etc A weighing point represents a period of days for example an 100 day weight may actually be any weight recorded for the animal in the period between 90 and 110 days. You are of course campleatly in control here as to whether the period is tight (only a few days ) or wide (30 or 40 days).
You may revue animals weights using the Weight Analysis View and then graph the weights at the click of a button.
You may even record carcuss grades and revue then on a standard grading grid. Slaughter house reports may also be recorded and the data imported.
